Finally, the Crew and the Stage Property

photo The photograph shows Fritz Goro, right, and me creatively meditating upon the objects that form the stage property for the photograph setting. On the left is a large black cabinet that houses the modulator. It provided the pulse to energize the magnetron. The oscilloscope on the left provides the trigger to tell the modulator to issue a pulse. The black cable carries the electric pulse to a transformer on the right that energizes the magnetron. Goro's camera hangs on the white sheet on the left. The cabinet on the far right has the controls to monitor the magnetron operating conditions. The magnetron and blower are at the top. It has another pulse transformer inside the box. The transformer to which the modulator cable is connected is a spare.
